Dunn’s River falls is the most popular of all the Jamaican falls, attracting millions of the world’s visitors each year. A brisk 1 hour and 30 minute hike will take you on an exhilarating adventure through lush surroundings, with pools you can swim in dotting the way to the summit. At the base of the waterfall, you will find both its defining feature, and what makes it so unique. The falls empty into the sea at Little Dunn’s River Beach, making Dunn’s River Falls one of the few travertine waterfalls in the entire world!
Dunn’s River Park offers two climbs; a wet climb and a dry climb. If you are not a fan of getting wet, then the dry climb would be best suited for you. The wet climb entails walking within the falls, and through the water, so a swimsuit or anything that will dry quickly are suitable for the climb. The dry climb involves a walking trail alongside the falls. Both trails are equally as fun, but only the wet climb will take you to the summit.
Rafting provides a peaceful, soothing ride down the river on a bamboo raft piloted by a skilled raft captain. Consider taking a rafting trip down the White River in the resort town of Ocho Rios.
Here you will enjoy the magnificent waters of the White River while sailing down the river in a 2-person bamboo raft while taking in the breathtaking scenery.
Stop for a relaxing limestone foot massage, a swim, or simply rest while taking in the views and sounds of the tropical surroundings.
Bring your camera along to capture the lush, gorgeous surroundings along the river. While your captain talks about the environment, the river, and the environs, have a fresh cut coconut to drink.

Stop At: Seven Mile Beach, Negril Jamaica
Seven Mile Beach is much more than a chill on the sand and dip in the water experience; on these shores you can have an experience that is as laid-back, or as amped up as you desire. And by amped up we mean that Seven Mile Beach is also party central, so depending on what part of Seven Mile Beach Negril you decide to set up for the day you can expect lots of music, food, and drinks flowing in abundance. You can also bring along your own snacks and drinks, but if you don’t, you’ll still have plenty of options for dining, from casual to higher end.
At Seven Mile Beach, you won’t have any trouble finding somewhere to hangout; some spots come with lounge chairs where you can chill. Unlike some of the other more secluded beaches on the island you’ll find restrooms and changing facilities. It is recommended that you use the ones in the more popular establishments which are usually better appointed, especially if you’re travelling with kids.

Stop At: Rick’s Cafe, West End Road, Negril Jamaica
Rick’s Cafe draws locals and visitors alike for many reasons: live reggae music, delicious drinks, an incredible view of Negril’s famous sunsets, and, of course, Negril cliff diving. Any time of the day, you’ll notice people taking turns jumping off into the crystal clear water below. The lowest ledge is about 8 feet above the water while the highest is 40 feet. While you’re there, you may even see a daring local putting on a show as they climb to the tops of trees above the cliffs to dive off. Known as one of the best diving spots in the Caribbean, Rick’s was the first official public bar and restaurant in the area. Islanders have been coming to this property to eat and drink since 1974 and to dive long before then. Rick’s is still worth a visit, and jumping from the cliff’s here is a “right of passage” in Negril. Whether you experience the thrill of jumping yourself or take a front row seat to watch others take a dive, we suggest enjoying a drink while you take in the sunset.
